Arrowleaf Sida is Little but Exceptionally Colorful
When I first started doing photography, one of the first wildflowers I took pictures of was arrowleaf sida (Sida rhombifolia). It grows wild all over my property so I had plenty of opportunities. That year I actually took quite a few images of these beautiful little flowers, and used them in several posts, but the following year was so dry that there weren’t that many of them. Since then, I’ve noticed them growing again, but for one reason or another I haven’t taken any photos. Last week I noticed a small patch of them and thought, “yes! Something other than tickseeds!”. It’s still bright yellow, but otherwise looks much different. I had a good time getting these images since I hadn’t taken any in awhile, and because these little flowers do hold a special place in my heart. I hope you like them as much as I do!
