To me, the color combination of purple and green is very, very pretty, especially when it’s out in nature. When I saw these gorgeous purple flowers at a conference recently, I couldn’t resist exploring them. Needless to say, it made me quite happy when I located this bright green lynx spider (Peucetia viridans) in the flowers. Not only do I love the color combination, but I think that both the flowers and the spider are beauties in their own right. If you’ve read much of this blog, you probably know I have a fondness for spiders already, so how could I resist a bright green spider on a deep purple flower? Even though I’ve been doing this for a little while now, I’m still sometimes amazed at just how pretty nature can be.
