As I have stated previously, I really love hibiscus flowers. They have lovely textured petals that come in a large variety of colors. But in my opinion, the central stamen is the flowers most striking aspect. So to let you get an idea of what I mean, I decided to take some macro shots of that fancy stamen. I really liked the way this one came out so I decided to process it like some of my other hibiscus photos with only certain aspects in color. That type of processing really puts the focus on the colored areas, which was my intent here. Hopefully, now you can understand my fascination with these gorgeous flowers and their beautiful stamens.
