Easter is still a few weeks away, but in the spirit of the holiday, I’ve been working on a couple pieces of new artwork. This is the one I’ve already finished. I rather liked the idea of a small bird being somewhat puzzled by a large colored egg laying out on a lawn. I think I would find that very unusual situation if I was a small bird. The little bird I chose is a black and white warbler (Mniotilta varia) and was drawn based on one of my own photos. I’m working on a second, completely different drawing right now and I hope to have it ready to go by the time Easter actually rolls around. That’s the only hint you get for now, though.
