Just in case you didn’t decide to stay up until the wee hours in the morning, I did on Thursday, just to capture this beautiful blood moon total eclipse. I had to be up early for work on Friday, so I took photos at intervals with little catnaps in between. Then I took the best photos at the most dramatic times and created this composite. It goes from before the eclipse started, through to the total eclipse to the beginning of the red color until the maximum color appeared. It was definitely worth staying up for, although I will admit, I was not too happy when the alarm went off for work in the morning.
