The first full moon of 2025 has already come and gone, and in my area, the night of the full moon was fairly overcast. The next morning, though, all the cloud cover had moved off, giving us a great view of the moon as it set. When I was leaving my house, the sun had just risen and the clear sky was shining a light blue, while the horizon had just a slight yellowish tint from reflected sunlight. The colors of the sky and the way the trees were picking up the sunlight was quite striking and they made that moon really “pop”. It was most definitely a great way to start off the day!
