As you may know, I love the textures of weathered wood, so when I came across this old tree on a hike in the Gothe State Forest, I couldn’t resist it. I especially liked this area where the textures swirled and danced around a couple of long lost branches. I was actually surprised that the woodpeckers hadn’t been punching holes in this old tree, but, for the most part it’s texture remained undisturbed.
