Yesterday was the first day of astronomic fall, although meteorological fall started on September 1. Fall means changing colors on the trees, Halloween, and cooler temperatures among other things. Spring is probably my favorite time of the year, but fall ranks a close second. I love the colors, the fall flowers are always beautiful, there are lots of active, hungry insects and wildlife species preparing for winter, and, of course there is the fall bird migration. Also in Florida, cooler temperatures are also a big plus. So let’s all celebrated the beginning of the fall season!
