The spider monkeys on Monkey Island in Homosassa, Florida are a lot of fun to watch. When we first arrived to see them they were just lazing around in the shade, but as the temperature cooled a bit they began to move around and do things. And one important thing to do after a quiet afternoon rest, is to see what snacks are available. That’s what this fellow was up to shortly after they began moving around. As you can see, he looks pretty well fed, but it never hurts to add in a healthy afternoon snack.
