The Moon is Getting Closer and Closer to Being Full
This evening, on my way home from work, I decided to stop at the Bailey Trails in Gothe State Forest for a short hike. As often happens once I get out into the woods, I got interested in watching, seeing, and photographing things, and ended up being out there longer than I had planned. By the time I made it back to my truck, the sun was fully down and the moon was coming up. Right now it’s about a 3/4 moon, with the full moon set to happen next week on April 23. Even though it’s not quite full yet, it’s still very pretty, and after hiking and taking photos for about an hour and a half, what’s one or two more shots? Of course, that attitude is what often makes my hikes longer than I planned!
