Monday evening the sunset we had was magnificent! I was outside finishing up a couple of chores at about 7:00 pm as the sun started to go down. It very quickly became obvious that this sunset was going to be a good one, so I hurried inside for my camera and got myself in a good position to watch it as it developed. One of the things I love about sunrises and sunsets is how quickly they change. These are a couple of photos that I took just about the time that the colors were peaking. Those really bright oranges only lasted for a few minutes before the sun completely set and the light began to reflect as a pink on the bottoms of the clouds. And the really cool thing about this is that I’m in my own back yard! I know I’ve said it before, but I really love living here!
