This little green anole (Anolis carolinensis) was relaxing and getting a sunbath after a chilly night when I found him. I was really taken with the way he was sitting on the fence, almost like a little person, or maybe the Geico gecko. It also looked like he might be playing a guitar or more likely a cello with his front legs. I know he wasn’t doing either of these things, but nevertheless, he was adorable. Since he was pretty relaxed I took advantage and also took a couple of closeup shots. I just love their beautiful eyes.
