Since I showed everyone a variety of the Drummond’s phlox flowers (Phlox drummondii) in yesterday’s post and ended the post with asking you guys to imagine a field or roadside full of them, I thought today would be a good day to show you what it actually looks like. This field is not far from my home just before you get into the little town nearest me. Every year the roadside and much of the field fill with these beautiful purple, pink, and white flowers. For about a month it really is absolutely gorgeous!
