Out in the woods, where I live, the horizons on either side of me are pretty well obscured by the tall oak and pine trees. When we have a nice sunrise or sunset it’s not always easy to see, but often the sun also throws color onto any clouds that happen to be up in the sky. Such was the case last week when I came out of my gate on my way to work. The roseate color that the clouds had picked up was just gorgeous. Lately, most mornings have very foggy, but as you can see, on this particular morning there wasn’t any fog either. It’s always uplifting to start the day off with something beautiful before the insanity of the day sets in. This time of the year I really look forward to these peaceful, quiet moments in nature, even if they are only fleeting.
