A Summary of the Year 2022
It’s now the middle of January, so is it too late to present a wrap up of the last year? I don’t think so. For me, 2022 was a pretty good year. It saw me through another busy year at work and a number of great photography opportunities in the areas around my office. It also sent me on some beautiful walks out in the natural areas around my home including several parts of the Gothe State Forest and Payne’s Prairie State Park. The highlight of the year, though, was definitely my trip to Anchorage, Alaska. It provided some great family memories of my Mom’s 80th birthday and my youngest brother’s 59th. That trip also gave me the chance to photograph some subjects that I would never be able to see in Florida. Some of those include a moose cow and moose calves, harbor seals, Steller’s sea lions, orcas, glaciers, birch trees, and a Steller’s jay, just to name a few. Below are some of my favorite images from 2022. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking them. I’m looking forward to what 2023 has in store, and I wish all of you the best for the year to come.
