During my afternoon of hiking at Paynes Prairie State Park, I came out of the woods onto a boardwalk that crossed some of the marshy area surrounding Lake Wauberg. The sun was beginning to head towards the western horizon and it made a light streak across the water. That area was surrounded by a dancing rainbow of colors as the waves and ripples in the water caught and refracted the light. I didn’t even realize that I had captured the colors until I looked at the images the following day. The sun had been so bright while I was shooting that I really couldn’t see what I was getting with each shot. There was also a small flock of some type of ducks (they were too far away to identify in the bright light) that added a bit of liveliness to the image.
