Over the weekend daylight savings time ended and with it my fall sunrise “season” ended too. For a short period of time every fall and every spring I am treated to some incredible sunrises on my way to work in the mornings. I have to say I won’t miss being up and on the road well before the sun is up, but I will miss those sunrises. In honor of all the great fall sunrises I saw this year, here’s one of the last, but best ones that I photographed just last week. I love the way the light from the rising sun reflects off of the bottoms of the overhead clouds and fades to grey near the top of the frame. Mother Nature was having fun with her paints that morning!
