Memorial Day in the United States is a national holiday that is celebrated in order to honor our fallen American soldiers. It is celebrated with parades, graveside services, cookouts, and family gatherings. Many State and local parks are open, some with free admission, for this holiday. Last year, I spent a good bit of the day at the Gothe State Park that borders my property. So today, I am going to share some of the photos that I have taken out there (not all of them on Memorial Day). I hope they make a nice addition to your holiday!
