The Quest to Capture the Incredibly Beautiful, Perfect Gardenia

Gardenias are one of my favorite flowers, so I have several plants in my yard. Each year I try to get some images of them while they are blooming. I just love the delicate white petals and the alluring fragrance. The only thing I don’t like about them is that like the hibiscus flowers, they have only a few hours when they are in perfect condition before the petal edges begin to wilt and turn brown. If anything the gardenias may go by even quicker than the hibiscus flowers do! Anyhow, each year it’s one of my goals to capture at least one gardenia flower when it is at it’s absolute prime. I think I did okay this year, and the season’s not over yet, either!
