Blue and Gold are a Striking and Colorful Combination
Canada goldenrod is one of my favorite fall flowers around here. In some places it grows in large bunches, on it’s long, thin stalks. Every time even a slight breeze blows, all of those pretty little yellow flowers flow in the direction of the wind. It’s like an ocean of yellow moving back and forth in unison. I could sit and watch it for hours. It is just kind of mesmerizing, like looking at a camp fire or a lava lamp. Goldenrod is also a flower that attracts many pollinators, which is another reason to like it. Tonight’s image is one that I shot in the fall of 2020. I changed the background color from mostly green to mostly blue to make those gorgeous little yellow beauties really pop. Please let me know what you think. Is it effective or not?
