Not long ago, I took a short trip down to St. Petersburg to visit some friends. We had a wonderful time and I got to reconnect with them and with the ocean, which is one thing we don’t have around here. One of the evenings I was down there we went to the bay for the sunset and a Christmas boat parade. The sunset wasn’t as spectacular as it had been the evening before since there weren’t many clouds in the sky (unfortunately, I was driving on the Interstate at sunset the evening before. It killed me not to be able to capture some photos!), but it was still quite pretty. And it was a beautiful evening on the water with good friends. You can’t beat that!

These images are in succession as the sun went down behind the few clouds that there were along the horizon. The temperature was in the mid to low seventies with a nice breeze. We stood out on a small dock for the sunset. I don’t think I could have asked for a better night. I hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them!
