My Passion for Passion Fruit Extends to Beautiful Colors
The spring and summer of 2020 introduced me to passion fruit. One day I was working in the dog house, probably cleaning up some mess or other, when I happened to notice an exotic looking purple flower through the window. I had never seen anything quite like it before, so I took many (and I do mean many) photos of them over the next few weeks. Then the fruit formed and ripened, and it was delicious. I had so much fun with the passion fruit that summer that I couldn’t wait for it to come up again this year. Everything was going along great until we had a spring drought and all the passion fruit vines died. Before that happened I did take some photos of the flowers, and this was one of them. In post processing I wanted to play around with the color, and ended up with this color gradient. I really like the effect. It seems to work well with the colors in this flower and background. What do you think?
