Fall in Florida has a Special Beauty All It’s Own
Now that it’s officially fall a lot of you are beginning to get the gorgeous fall leaf color changes that the season is so well known for. Down here in Florida we don’t generally get much of a fall most years. Right now it’s still hot, we still have plenty of late summer flowers blooming, the wild things are still very active and abundant, and even the days are still relatively long. We won’t ever get lots of fall color like you folks up north do, but we are beginning to see the first signs of fall. We have had some cooler temperatures at night and the oaks are starting to drop acorns. When I went outside the other morning there were little green acorns scattered all over the deck and I spotted this arrangement that caught my eye. It just seemed to cry out “Fall in Florida” to me, so that’s what I named the photo. I don’t do lots of still lifes, so I don’t always trust my eye. Let me know what you think.
