Well, it appears I’ve done it again! Yesterday was National Puppy Day. I had it in my notes as being today. Typo? Quite possibly. Who knows. Once again, just like for International Women’s Day, World Wildlife Day, National Florida Day, and National Cat Day, I’m a day behind. What’s important, though is that we celebrate this day devoted to cuteness! National Puppy Day celebrates all the love, fun, and joy that puppies bring to our lives. It is also important to remember the abandoned puppies in our shelters and to remember that adopting a puppy is a long commitment of time and money. Think carefully before taking it on. If you decide adoption of a puppy is for you, consider adopting from a shelter rather than a breeder or worse yet, a puppy mill. With that said, enjoy some adorable puppies!!!
