I Hope All of You Have a Happy Christmas Eve!
As most people know, today is Christmas Eve. For a lot of people Christmas Eve is almost as special a day as Christmas Day. Many folks use Christmas Eve as a day for family get togethers, last minute shopping, gift exchanges, or religious gatherings. This year has been a crazy year, and unfortunately, this holiday may still be difficult for a lot of people. Many parts of this world, and even some parts of the United States are still on lockdown, and travel isn’t recommended. There are still plenty of people who are struggling financially, too, so I’m sure that this Christmas will be as unusual as the rest if the year has been.
Our family has been lucky. We have all been working throughout this pandemic, and we have all stayed healthy. We always have just a small family gathering for Christmas, and except for one brother who can’t usually join us anyhow, we all live close enough that we feel safe getting together as usual. We will exchange gifts and have a nice dinner together as usual. I hope that all of you can have a normal Christmas celebration, like we will, but if you can’t, I hope that you can a least do something enjoyable!
