A White Moth Becomes a Colorful Blush in the Night
Evening and night time is the time for moths of all sorts. They are often attracted to the lights that come from the house at night, so that’s a good time to go out and photograph them. You never know what you may find out there. Some are naturally very colorful like the echo moth, the scarlet lichen moth, and the dotted spraguiea moth. Some are less colorful, and some are downright drab. In nature, this tiger moth (Spilosoma spp.) is white with black spots, but with a little bit of creative post processing it’s now a work of art.
