Here is an Interesting Little Peek Behind the Scenes of My Art
As you may or may not know, I have been drawing since I took a couple of art classes in college. They were intended originally to simply be a break from all the science and math, but I found them to be a lot of fun, and incredibly relaxing. When I first started veterinary medicine, my art got put on a back shelf for a while, but when I was able to get back to it, I decided that I wanted to have my own reference images. That’s how I got started in photography. Once again, I found that I really enjoyed it, and it gave me a great excuse to go walk in the woods; something I’ve always liked. I publish a lot more photos than I do drawings because the drawings take me a lot longer to produce, but I do try to get in at least a little bit of drawing every week. So tonight, I thought I would show you a few of my artworks in the context of what I originally saw. Each piece is based on one or more of my own photos, and they are presented together. I’d love to hear any thoughts that you have on the final products or on my process.
