It’s not necessarily unusual to find little jumping spiders in small hiding places since they’re another ambush hunter. I’ve found them between boards in my fence, in cracks in tree bark, and underneath any number of things, but this was the first time I ever found one under the overlap on house siding. I was taking out trash at my office and caught a glimpse of movement. My curiosity got the better of me, so I had to check it out. I found this tiny little jumping spider peering out. Everything except the eyes were shadowed, so I couldn’t identify the species, but I thought it was a cool photo. Hope you think so, too!
