Single Sunflowers are Just as Beautiful as a Group

Every morning that I go to work I pass this small patch of sunflowers (Helianthus annuus) that someone has planted near the road. And every time I pass them I think I should stop and take a photo, but I don’t want to be late, so I don’t. Then last Sunday I was out doing errands and as I started to pass by the sunflowers it seemed like the perfect time to stop. I took quite a few photos both of single flowers like this one and groups of them. This was one of my favorite singles. This particular flower had some really nice gold shading on the petals that made it slightly different from most of the flowers. I’ve always been one to like the different things, so that may have been part of the attraction for me. What do you think?
