Morning sun shines in the woodlands

Illuminating the trees and shrubs. 

Light breezes stir, and so does all the forest life. 

A proud father searches for insects and food for his new family. 

A tap on a tree trunk here, wood chips flying there. 

He flies from place to place looking for the best morsels. 

A short stop and an alert pose as he listens to the wood. 

The sound of grubs inside beckons to him. 

Soon the family will be satiated.
