Passion fruit flowers come in several varieties, and all the ones I have growing wild here are a purple, fruit producing variety. One of my friends, though, has several plants that produce a blue flower. Interestingly, these blue flowers don’t produce much of a fruit and certainly not something you’d want to eat. She really has an amazing garden, so I usually take my camera when I go there. The last time I was there, the blue passion fruit flowers were blooming. As anyone who knows me can attest, I can’t resist a passion fruit flower, so we had to have a little photo session. For this image, I did a little creative processing to create this glowing work of art.
