Earlier this week, as I headed home from work, I caught what looked like it was going to be a gorgeous sunset in my rear view mirror. I was going through cow country, so I found a nice open area and stopped to enjoy it. And, of course, I took quite a few photos since, like all sunsets, it changed almost minute to minute. I also took some images for use as a panorama that I will be working on soon. This image was taken after the sun had already been down for quite a while and the sky was getting pretty dark. The sky color was this deep dark red that really made the silhouetted pines really stand out. Even when I’m tired after a long work day, I will never pass up a great sunset.
