I’m not sure what prompted me to do it, but I decided to look at some older images last night. I’m not even sure what I was looking for, but when I reviewed this shot of a scurfy twiglet mushroom (Tubaria furfuracea), I thought it would make a nice artistic work. It was partially tipped over allowing me to get a shot of it from below without damaging it. Those gills looked very interesting to me, and I wanted to do something special with this photo. This is the final result that I came up with.
