Colorful Wildflowers Can Be Practically Glowing After a Rainstorm
After Wednesday’s afternoon shower, the sun came out again, and the flowers seemed to glow thanks to the rain water covering them. Even though my yard is full of these blackjack flowers right now, this one just seemed to stand out. It was slightly taller than most of the others and was very shiny with the water on it. It was also in very good condition (frequently storms pull petals off of these delicate flowers). If it had been some sort of animal, I would have been saying it was perfectly posed. Sometimes the beauty of nature can be quite simple, and this was definitely one of those times. Mother Nature is indeed an inspiring and accomplished artist!
