Earth Day Really Shouldn’t be Unique, but Celebrated Every Day
Today is Earth Day, 2023, and hopefully all of you are celebrating in one way or another. Earth Day gives us a special day to celebrate this wonderful planet that we all share. There are lots of ways that anyone can celebrate from taking a short walk outdoors to planting trees, to organizing a community project or garden. The main thing is to remember that we have just one Earth and when/if we destroy her, we destroy ourselves. We should treasure our planet and all of the incredible types of life that it supports, which is why we should strive to celebrate Earth Day every day. If each of use would make an effort to leave our small part this Earth in a better state than what we found it in we could make a tremendous difference. In celebration of Earth Day today, I took a modest hike in my beloved Gothe State Forest, gave my wild things a few extra treats along with their usual allotment of bird seed, and I’m now sharing a few of my favorite nature photos to remind everyone just how wonderful our planet really is. How did you celebrate?
