One of my photography groups is doing a feature on cats right now, so I figured I should share my contribution here, too. This is Kai. He adopted me about two years ago. He showed up here and braved the dogs day after day until I finally gave in and fed him. It wasn’t long after that that he decided that the life of a house cat was the life he wanted. It took a little time, but he integrated well into our household and now pretty much runs the place. He absolutely adores me, I guess because I rescued him, but I absolutely adore him, too. When I’m home, he’s never far away, so he has become a really great companion.
