The Lantana Bush has Some Unusually Colorful Spring Flowers
It’s full blown spring now in Florida. In fact, some afternoons it’s getting a little toasty, especially if you are working outside or hiking in the woods. I don’t really mind. That’s part of the reason I live here, but people coming into our office are already starting to complain. Along with the warmer temperatures comes a flood of blossoming flowers. Mainly, I photograph wildflowers, but sometime I do also photograph ornamentals like these colorful lantana flowers (Lantana camara). They were flowering beautifully along the front of one of my neighbor’s yards and I couldn’t resist them when I walked by on the way out to the woods. I did do some manipulations on the original photo to get this final result. Let me know what you think!
You may have noticed that I am having trouble getting my photos to come through on my emails to subscribers. I’ve tried several things and am still working on it. If you don’t see the photos, please click on the title to take you to the post on WordPress, where the photos can be seen. I hope to have this issue fixed soon, so please hang in there with me! Thanks!
