It’s been a pretty nice day today. Kind of warm, perhaps, for December, but that’s not unusual in central Florida. When we finished up work this afternoon, we were heading out and it was pretty overcast. I glanced across the area behind our office and saw this sheet of rain coming out of the clouds. Again, not unusual around here, but this one was kind of cool because it was so thin that you can see the sky through the sheet of rain. Then, when I was pulling out onto the main road to my house I spotted this hole in the clouds that was allowing a really striking sun ray through. Two gorgeous and unusual weather phenomena in one afternoon definitely warranted some photos! And the really interesting thing is that we never did end up getting any rain in our area!
