Rain Can Produce Beautiful Images in Nature Photography
Today has been a wet, soggy day here in north central Florida. It was raining when I got up, and it has rained pretty much continuously throughout the day. That’s kind of unusual for us, but it does sometimes happen (other than during hurricanes), especially this time of the year. So it seemed appropriate to share a rain photo today. This is another one from the summer of 2020 when I had so many passion fruit vines. We had just had one of our more typical afternoon downpours that had lasted about 15 minutes and then the sun was out again. One of my photography groups was doing an exercise on shooting water and water droplets, so it was a prefect time to go get some images. These are a couple of the ones I took in the passion fruit vines. They were always fun to shoot after rain because of their interesting loops and whorls.
